The problem we solve
Taiwan is full of world-class spring factories — most of which only accept orders that fit their own machines, publish no English information, and rarely answer overseas emails. The capability exists; the access doesn't.
Formosa Spring is that missing access layer. We understand your requirement in English (or Japanese), route it to the best-fit factory in our vetted network, negotiate in Taiwanese, supervise quality, and ship under one commercial relationship: ours with you.
What "non-red supply chain" means to us
- Production in Taiwan. Every part is made in Taiwanese factories we have visited and audited.
- Materials sourced in Taiwan. Wire and strip come through Taiwanese mills and stockists, with mill certificates.
- Certificates of origin issued for every production lot — audit-ready for tariff and compliance purposes.
- No re-labeling. We never buy Chinese parts and re-mark them. That practice destroys buyers' compliance standing, and our model depends on your trust.
See our Quality & Material Traceability page for the full detail on inspection, testing, and documentation.
How we work
- You send an RFQ. Drawing, sample, or even a sketch.
- We engineer first. Manufacturability review, material suggestions, tolerance discussion — before quoting.
- We match the factory. Wire diameter, tooling, certifications, and capacity decide who makes your part, not sales quotas.
- We own the outcome. Quality issues are our problem to fix, not a reason to blame a subcontractor.
Who is behind Formosa Spring
Formosa Spring was founded in Taiwan in partnership with one of Taiwan's largest metal wire suppliers, working closely with the specialist factory cluster centered around Taichung — giving us both raw-material priority and honest visibility into which factory is genuinely good at what.
